To Learn More and Register...

Step 1: Review Program Components

  • Our curriculum was developed in collaboration with educators, teenagers, researchers, and mental health practitioners to create accurate and relevant information that helps teens prepare for the challenges they experience.
  • Over 15 hours of content (covered over 15 levels), we've carefully curated what research and experience are essential skills for healthy teen development of self-esteem, mental health, healthy relationships, and healthy sexuality.
  • Once registered, teens will meet one-on-one with their coach, complete an evaluation survey, and be able to access their course.
  • Parents and caring adults will be able to access a course page just for them to see summaries of the content covered in each lesson (called Levels) and conversation guides to build on the curriculum at home.

Step 2: Review How We Check it Works

  • To assess whether our curriculum is having the desired impact (e.g., reduced sexual risk taking, improved parent-teen communication, improved mental health) for all teens, we need to ask a lot of questions at the beginning and end the program. To see if the changes last, we also send out a follow-up survey.
  • We provide every teen with an ID# that links their data across time, but is not linked to their identity. The results are confidential and only reported as trends across all teens in our program. Also, teens can skip any question they don't feel comfortable answering.
  • To see a list of the topics we ask about in the evaluation survey and a brief explanation of why we ask them, click the top link to the right. If you want to preview the full evaluation survey, click the bottom link to the right.

Annie

“Relationships are an integral part of today’s society. It is important to know what healthy habits look like when communicating with a partner. It is also crucial for teens and young adults to understand red flags in relationships of any kind! I believe it is never too early to learn what makes a relationship healthy and safe!”
